Ohio State's third fourth fifth lol-string quarterback Cardale Jones made headlines Friday when he tweeted that he wasn't at Ohio State for an education. He left a few details out.
Sure, by now you've seen the story on every conceivable outlet. Deadspin, ESPN, blogs, forums, you name it. A 19 year old in the midst of a string of Friday morning classes tweeted that he didn't like class and preferred football to class. Get the pitchforks, y'all:
Of course in his infinite lack of wisdom he forgot mention other things that are pointless:
- Any Saturday you don't spend glued to a TV from high noon to after midnight.
- Those four to six days of the week without college football.
- Tailgates sans booze.
- That college football's senior tour doesn't allow you to return intercepted/fumble recovered two point conversions for two points.
In general, there are plenty of important, as yet debated topics that we've yet to hear from myopic, short attention spanned teenagers on. We better get right on that.
