The Buckeyes and the Golden Eagles are about to do battle at the Carrier Classic. Join us, will you?
Tip off is in about 20 minutes aboard the USS Yorktown, for tonight's heavyweight fight between the Big East's Marquette Golden Eagles, and the Big Ten's Ohio State Buckeyes. If you want to read a preview to get you up to speed, check it here. Conditions are expected to be dry, but chilly for the players, who will be playing in front of a much smaller crowd, around 4,000 (half of which will be for military personnel). Nets have been set up to prevent any balls swatted into orbit by Amir Williams from landing in the ocean, although that might stop Aaron Craft from launching himself after a lose ball. #praycraftdoesntgetwashedaway.
I'll be commenting throughout the game, and these open threads are a lot more fun if y'all join me. Typical rules apply; basically, don't be a jerk. We haven't had a problem with that so far this season, and I don't expect it to start now.

UPDATE: We're in the midst of a now almost 50 minute delay due to excessive condensation on the court. They'll be making a call on canceling the game within the next 10 minutes or so.
