tis but a scratch, Army Black Knights bowl record

In honor of the 4th of July, we put the B1G on hold and go diving into the service academies and Notre Dame. The latter being included because they are the themed school over on the OTE, and the absurd levels of glee they get from beating our servicemen by huge margins shall make them the USSR in this exercise.

Let’s start with the Army Black Knights of West Point. A one time superpower in the sport, with multiple national titles and Heisman trophy winners, they are now a shadow of their former selves. However, that legendary Black Knight history must have an incredible list of bowl to go with it right? First the rules:
1) All teams are counted from their CURRENT conference
2) Redacted games are counted
3) Mythical national championship games are counted by host bowl, and not as a separate entity.

Overall bowl record: 3-2

Longest win streak: 2 (‘84-’85)

Longest losing streak: 2 (‘88, ’96)

Yep, that’s right the once mighty Black Knights have only played in FIVE bowls and none of them are what one might deem to be BCS caliber. Not only that, but they can’t seem to beat the accursed rebels. Also, there was a bowl game in Michigan known as the Cherry Bowl.

Breakdown by Coach:

Jim Young: 2-1

Bowl:

Cherry: 1-0

Peach: 1-0

Sun: 0-1

Conference:

There you have it, Navy, Air Force and TSiSB will be up when I get a chance.
