Earlier this week, the Cardinals posted a black uniform with an alternate black helmet on Twitter to gauge fan interest. The athletic department has denied that the uniform is anything more than a prototype to show recruits, but it's likely the team wears them tonight against Houston.

Despite the clamoring by some fans for the Scarlet Knights to return to a more traditional look, head coach Kyle Flood said that there will not be any changes to the team's uniforms in the foreseeable future. This week, the team will be wearing their silver armor helmets with a red, white, and blue decal.
As a tribute to veterans, the Bulls will be wearing a flag-themed helmet against Memphis. Select members of the team will have a patch on their jersey to honor the military branch of their choice.

Each week, the Tar Heels' equipment staff tweets a picture of what the team will wear in their upcoming game. Against Pittsburgh, the team will be wearing black helmets with their white jerseys and black pants.

This past weekend, the Red Raiders wore special uniform to bring awareness to the Lone Survivor Foundation. Founded by a retired Navy Seal, the foundation honors those who lost their lives in Operation Red Wings. The uniforms have since been auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the foundation.

In honor of the 75 members of the 1970 football team who died in the infamous plane crash, the Thundering Herd wore a "75" decal on their helmets. Furthermore, kickoff at Tulsa was moved back to 7:36 pm on Thursday, marking the exact anniversary of the crash. The team will continue to wear these helmets for the remainder of the season.

When the Bobcats host Kent State for some midweek #MACtion, the team will be wearing black uniforms as part of the "Bobcat Blackout". Fans are encouraged to wear black to the game, as well.
