Ohio State's John Simon wants your cover vote for NCAA Football 14

The spiritual leader of the 2012 Ohio State football team is vying to make the cover of the popular video game, NCAA Football '14. You pretty much owe it to yourself to give it to him.

The EA SPORTS NCAA Football Cover Vote has advanced to the quarterfinals as the field is now down to the elite eight. After more than 1.7 million fan votes were cast on the official EA SPORTS NCAA Football Facebook page, Ohio State (and John Simon) have continued their run to be one of the last eight standing.

Voting for the next round is well underway and the vote totals at its kickoff were reset to zero to give all final eight schools an equal playing field for advancing to the final four. Ohio State fans can get behind John Simon to secure a spot in the next round of the tournament by visiting the official EA SPORTS NCAA Football Facebook page and voting as frequently as they'd like now through February 18th with athlete specific voting having begun on February 4th.

Additionally, be sure to check out http://ncaafootballcovervote.newslinevine.com/ to download Ohio State-centric promotional assets you can rock on Facebook or Twitter (or hey App.net!) to show your support for the cause.

Go Buckeyes (and go John Simon).
