After a pair of easy home wins to start out their season, the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Berkeley to face California and Sonny Dykes' Bear Raid offense. Television coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on FOX.
Ohio State began the season with a 40-20 win over Buffalo in a game that saw the Bulls narrow a 23-point first-quarter deficit to just 10 points in the fourth quarter. After an injury suffered by Braxton Miller in the Buckeyes' 42-7 rout of San Diego State, Kenny Guiton came in at quarterback and totaled two touchdowns and an interception in the win. Guiton is widely expected to start the game for the Buckeyes after Miler wasn't seen dressed during pregame warmups.
The Sonny Dykes era has gotten off to a bit of a rocky start in Berkeley. While the Bears lead the nation in passing offense, they lost their opener to Northwestern and squeaked by FCS opponent Portland State with a seven-point win in Week 2. Cal plays one of the toughest schedules in the nation, with five ranked teams (including three of the top five teams in the nation) left on their schedule, and the Bears will have to work some magic to get to a bowl game.
