According to Rivals.com's Randy Withers, the Buckeyes sent out an offer to '16 DE Amani Bledsoe on Wednesday. Ohio State joins the list of offers for the 6'5, 270-pounder that includes Kansas, Kansas State, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma, who also offered yesterday. Bledsoe, a Lawrence High School (KS) standout, is currently listed as the best player in the state for his class. The four-star strong-side defensive end is also the 247th overall player and the 16th overall at his position. You can check out Bledsoe in action here.
Stump flip coming?
One of the biggest positions of need for the 2015 class comes at the wide receiver position and '15 WR Alex Stump of St. Edwards (OH) is a legitimate candidate. The current Kentucky commit could be making his final decision relatively soon as well, according to Bill Kurelic of 247Sports.com. "It will be anywhere from this week to a couple weeks" Stump told Kurelic. If the Buckeyes land Stump, he would be the sixth highest rated commit in the class according to the 247Sports composite scale, and would put Ohio State past LSU at 13th on the 2015 recruiting team rankings. Stump would also join Joe Burrow, Nick Conner, Eric Glover-Williams, Justin Hilliard, Dre'Mont Jones, Liam McCullough and Denzel Ward as in-state prospects committed to the Scarlet and Gray.
Wide receiver U
Another big target at the wide receiver position is '15 WR Lawrence Cager, and he had a conversation with head coach Urban Meyer on Wednesday.

Cager has always wanted an Ohio State offer and on July 25th, after competing at the annual Friday Night Lights camp, he got that offer. The Calvert Hall (MD) talent has since had the Buckeyes at the top of his list and he is expected to take his official visit to Columbus the weekend of the Michigan game. The four-star Cager is also planning to officially visit Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and Alabama.
This past weekend, Cager was at Rutgers to watch the Scarlet Knights take down the Wolverines. Cager is currently rated as the 388th overall player in the class, the 47th overall player at his position and the 8th best player in the state of Maryland.

Lastly, '16 SG Tyus Battle received a visit yesterday from Ohio State assistant coach Greg Paulus according to Andrew Slater of 247Sports. Battle is a five-star prospect and one of the best basketball players in the whole 2016 class. The Buckeyes have offered the New Jersey guard along with 25 other top programs. The 247Sports Crystal Ball currently favors Duke to land the best player in the Garden State, but Syracuse and Kentucky also have predictions.
