Liam McCullough commits to Ohio State

Liam McCullough will be the next long snapper at Ohio State - Rubio long snapping

Ohio State adds a commitment from class of 2015 long snapper Liam McCullough.

Urban Meyer and his staffed picked up another commitment for the 2015 class when Worthington (OH) Kilbourne long snapper Liam McCullough committed to Ohio State months after seeing his preferred walk-on offer turned into a full scholarship offer.

While the commitment comes as no surprise and it's by no means a "sexy" pickup, it's important to have a good long snapper and the Buckeyes will need a new one to replace Bryce Haynes in the not too distant future.

His commitment will be overlooked by many, but in order to have a great football team, it's important to be great in every area of the game, which includes long snapping.

In addition to the offer from Ohio State, McCullough received scholarship offers from Big Ten foes Michigan State and Wisconsin. He also held an offer from Kentucky.

Land-Grant Holy Land hopes to have quotes from the newest Buckeye later today. If you haven't seen him in action, make sure to check out his highlights below:
