In case you missed it, this is evidently a thing:
A pizza delivery driver says his boss fired him after he made a comment to the wife of Luke Fickell about the Buckeyes needing better defense.
The Columbus State college student did not want to be identified by name.
But says he took a pizza order at Iacono's in Shawnee Hills from the wife of the OSU Defensive Coordinator two days before the OSU-Michigan State game.
The man says he was joking when he said the Buckeyes need better tackling and that Fickell's wife laughed.
But the next day, he says he was fired.
But now, the plot...thickens...like pizza dough in an oven. /weeps:
OSU issues release about Pizza-gate! "The Fickells DID NOT call the manager to complain ... feel terrible that this person lost his job."

OSU (cont.) "The manager found out about the incident (presumably from someone at the restaurant. The manager called the Fickells."

OSU: "Just like they did not place a call to complain, they also did not ask that anyone be fired. ... All they did was order pizza."

This is the dumbest story ever. Now let us never speak of it again.
