What to say about Ohio State's beyond riveting 29-22 overtime victory over Purdue? Well, there was that whole point when basically everyone cheering for the Scarlet & Gray had made peace with the fact that Urban Meyer's first defeat was going to come at the hands of a mustachioed sub-.500 career coach who'd been talking big all week. Particularly in a game in which the defense played a lot better than they had in recent weeks, it was all pretty frustrating.
And then there was that whole Braxton Miller being out thing. WIth the Buckeyes prolific Heisman trophy candidate in the hospital and things seemingly getting worse by the second, not only did Ohio State feel like they were on the precipice of a very 2011-esque loss, but it was possible they could be without their star quarterback for who knows how long. But then along came Kenny Guiton and Chris Fields and Jeff Heuerman and...let's just say with a high degree of certainty that that was the most exciting Ohio State football game since the Buckeyes' win at the end of last October over Wisconsin.
But you came here for the GIFs, so let's get right to them. We begin with Carlos Hyde's bruising 4th down conversion early on which was supposed to help set the town for the rest of the afternoon:

Kerry Coombs no longer has blood, only Red Bull. He's basically like the season finale of this year's True Blood, but with wings:
Kenny Guiton making plays. And the suddenly revitalized Chris Fields. Welcome back, sir:
And in what may be Ohio State's play of the year:
And finally, enjoy Coach Meyer out Kerry Coombs-ing Kerry Coombs:
