The Ohio State marching band's homage to video games is the coolest thing you'll see all day

The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Super Mario Brothers, Tetris and more!

The Best Damn Band in the Land is an Ohio State institution. Plenty of fans arrive to Ohio State games (or there abouts) hours in advance to see TBDBITL play in the football team or perform the timeless Script Ohio during pre-game. But then there are their world famous half time shows.

Saturday, at half time of Ohio State's emphatic 63-38 victory over Nebraska, the band elected to pluck the pop culture nostalgia strings of just about all in attendance. During a show that saw homages to everything ranging from The Legend of Zelda to Halo to Pokemon, the Buckeyes' marching band executes the same kind of awesomeness you may be accustomed to when taking in a local symphony paying homage to video game standards. But with the added flair of the marching formations creating video game visuals concurrently, things get really real.

I can promise you one thing: you won't see a better marching band/video game mashup video today.
