The high school playoffs are now in full swing and while the Ohio State Buckeyes enjoyed a week off from the grind of the season, things are just getting interesting as we approach the trail end of the season. With just two more games to play, head coach Urban Meyer has his eyes set on perfection.

Two more games also means only two more opportunities to impress onlooking recruits that may be on the edge as far as committing. With only one more home game – against rival Michigan – coach Meyer and his staff are putting in the extra effort to pull in some of the best talent around the country.

Let's take a look at how future Buckeyes fared this week in their high school games:

DE Joey Bosa - St. Thomas Aquinas and defensive end Joey Bosa defeated Deerfield Beach 45-0 tonight to move to 8-2 on the season.

ATH Jalin Marshall - Jalin Marshall and Middletown have ended their season. They did not play this weekend, but Jalin will certainly be preparing for his Ohio State career in the near future.

DE Tracy Sprinkle - Elyria and defensive end Tracy Sprinkle didn't play this weekend, as they did not make the playoffs. Sprinkle's season is over, but what a performance he put on week in and week out.

ATH Ezekiel Elliott - Dynamic athlete Ezekiel Elliott propelled his team to victory over the weekend, when he rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns as St. Louis Burroughs defeated Park Hills Central 24-0.

QB JT Barrett - Wichita Falls Rider defeated Wichita Falls 49-0, but quarterback JT Barrett did not play as he recovers from knee surgery. Rider is now 8-2.

DE Tyquan Lewis - Tarboro, with the help of DE/OLB Tyquan Lewis, defeated Kinston 48-14 to move to 12-0 on the season. Lewis made four tackles including a sack in the victory.

ATH Darron Lee - Athlete Darron Lee played a big role for his team over the weekend as he rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns on just 10 carries as New Albany defeated Dresden Tri-Valley 42-35.

OL Tim Gardner - Lawrence Central and offensive lineman Tim Gardner defeated Indianapolis Pike 49-21 tonight to move to 13-0 on the season, with their perfect record intact. The odds are looking high for them to make a strong statement by the time this season ends.

DB Cam Burrows - Trotwood-Madison and defensive back Cam Burrows defeated Cincinnati Winton Woods 27-20 over the weekend as the Rams moved to 10-2 on the season. The playoff run continues for Trotwood-Madison and Burrows has played a key role all season in the secondary.

DL Michael Hill - Pendleton lost to Cheraw 17-14 to end Pendleton's season at 8-4. Defensive tackle Michael Hill did not play. Hill was ruled out for the rest of the season after having finger surgery.

S Jayme Thompson - Toledo Central Catholic defeated Mansfield Madison 45-7 over the weekend. Defensive back Jayme Thompson made seven tackles and recovered a fumble in the victory, extending their season.

DL Billy Price - Austintown Fitch lost to Cleveland St. Ignatius 35-26 in the first round of the playoffs last week, ending Billy Price's season. Price had an outstanding season and we look for exciting things from him in the upcoming year.
