The Ohio State Buckeyes basketball team haven't looked consistently like the fourth best team in the country through two games. The good news is it's only two games. The Buckeyes haven't had the challenge of a tournament caliber team to point but should get that Sunday afternoon in the form of the Pac-12's Washington Huskies. Ohio State is but one win away from a perfect 3-0 start and a claim to the championship of the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off.
If you recall, the Kentucky Wildcats opened in the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off rather successfully a year ago and well, we all know how they finished 2011-2012.
While the Buckeyes aren't quite to that level yet, Aaron Craft and Deshaun Thomas give them the chance to do something really special. Adding in the likes of Lenzelle Smith Jr defensively, and the Buckeyes have every bit the possibility to go very deep this year. A run in with Abdul Gaddy and company, regardless of outcome, should help Ohio State further themselves toward their longterm 2012-2013 season goals.
Below is your Washington GameThread. As per usual we have one rule and one rule alone: pay it forward. Don't be a jerk, hate Michigan, and we should be good. Go Buckeyes.
