The Ohio State Buckeyes aren't the only Ohio team to keep their dream season endings alive. Many Ohio high school teams continue to drive through their tough competition on their way to possible state championship appearances. While the win at Camp Randall was quite spectacular, head coach Urban Meyer will be keeping a close eye on the outcome of the remaining teams hosting his future players.
Let's find out how they did this week and where they are headed in the future:
DE Joey Bosa – St. Thomas Aquinas and defensive end Joey Bosa defeated Miami Beach, 42-7, as Aquinas moved to 9-2 this season. Aquinas looks to continue this promising run.
ATH Jalin Marshall – Jalin Marshall and Middletown have ended their season. They did not play this weekend, but Jalin will certainly be preparing for his Ohio State career in the near future.
DE Tracy Sprinkle – Elyria and defensive end Tracy Sprinkle didn't play this weekend, as they did not make the playoffs. Sprinkle's season is over, but what a performance he put on week in and week out. Sprinkle ended the year as the National Defensive Player of the Year.
ATH Ezekiel Elliott – The human highlight reel that is named Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 220 yards on 26 carries and scored three times as St. Louis Burroughs defeated Monett, 28-7. Burroughs is 13-0 and headed for the state championship game this Friday.
