Thad Matta and the Ohio State Buckeyes look to take down the 9th ranked Kansas Jayhawks in arguably the biggest non-ACC/Big Ten Challenge game Ohio State's hosted in recent memory.
A year ago, Kansas defeated the Buckeyes twice. The first loss came in the storied confines of Phog Allen Fieldhouse when the Jayhawks took down the Buckeyes, 78-67. The teams would meet a second time on the largest of stages in New Orleans for the Final Four. Though the Buckeyes controlled things for nearly 35 minutes, KU was the better side down the stretch and the Jayhawks advanced to the privilege of losing to eventual national champions Kentucky, 64-62.
Below is your Kansas-Ohio State GameThread. If you're new to these parts, welcome. We're thrilled to have you. Our commenting system is unmatched around the web, but otherwise it's business as usual. We have but one rule and one rule alone: pay it forward. If famed Buckeye basketball legend Jerry Lucas would think you were being a jackass, you probably are. Bring your GIF a-game and snark and above all else, Go Buckeyes.
