GameThread: Long Beach State 49ers at #7 Ohio State Buckeyes

Thad Matta's 2012-2013 Ohio State Buckeyes seek their second straight victory and sixth overall.

Can LaQuinton Ross continue the sort of production he put up against Northern Kentucky? Will Aaron Craft snap out of the offensive malaise that has affected him much of the last two games? Is Deshaun Thomas gonna DeShaun Thomas? All these questions, and Andy Rooney (RIP) on this afternoon's 40 minutes.

With just four tune up contests to go before Ohio State plays host to the team that ended their season in 2011-2012, Kansas, the Buckeyes will have to continue to progress on the offensive side of the ball. The team's had a proclivity for uneven starts as a well (Duke aside), but the Bucks will need to be at their best if they want to take down perennially tough KU.

Below is your Long Beach State-Ohio State GameThread. If you haven't partook of a basketball game around these parts before, it's pretty easy. We have one simple rule (straight from the mouth of our patron saint, Woody Hayes): pay it forward. If your fellow Buckeye would think you're acting like a jerk, well, you probably are. Be chill, and when we win the game, we'll buy a keg of booze, and we'll drink to old Ohio 'til we wobble in our shoes.
