Committed to The Ohio State University
— Joey Bosa (@jbbigbear) April 23, 2012
Put #12 on the board for Urban Meyer. Following a visit (which by all accounts went swimmingly) and rumors that a commitment was imminent for the last several days, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) product Joey Bosa announced his committed to Ohio State Monday morning.
The defensive end has great speed for his size at 6-5, 262 and has drawn rave reviews for his technique. Scout ranks Bosa as a 5-star talent and the second best defensive end in his class while Rivals and 247sports both have him as a 4-star.
Regardless of the minor differences in player evaluation, securing a player of Bosa's caliber is a huge get for an already stacked Ohio State defensive line. Look for Bosa to join an absurd corp in the fall of 2013 after Nathan Williams exhausts his eligibility.
