Ohio State Football Recruiting: Neal Gives Bucks Baker's Dozen

And just like that Ohio State secured the services of commitment number thirteen (amply enough for the Class of 2013) by adding in the verbal commitment of defensive end Lewis Neal.

The rich get richer following a morning that saw Joey Bosa add his hat to the fold, the still-has-room-to-grow 6'2", 230 pound Neal from James Hunt High in Wilson, NC adds his name to the mix. Ohio State defensive line coach Mike Vrabel pretty much has to be licking his lips after seeing what may be Ohio State's best unit from top to bottom add even more future depth and talent.

While hardly the physical specimen of Bosa, the consensus three star Hunt isn't without his own merrits. Should Ohio State decide the cubbard is a bit too full on the defensive line, some have projected Neal as perhaps a better fit at linebacker or even tight end.

Stay tuned, as following a prosperous Ohio State Spring Game weekend, there could be even more on the horizon.

UPDATE: Per Buckeye Grove's Marc Givler, the Buckeyes have been recruiting Neal as a linebacker. He becomes the second linebacker in the class for Urban Meyer and Luke Fickell.
