Could Alex Anzalone be the first in a series of dominos following the revelation that Ohio State superfan Eric Waugh wasn't exactly what he seemed? It'd be horrible to think that one outlandish exaggeration of a worst case scenario would shake someone so deeply to the core (particularly given the so many supportive salt of the earth type fans comprising, oh, 99.9% of the rest of the fan base), though it'd be hard to fault him given the circumstances.
Anzalone is close with both Mike Heureman, brother of Jeff and Notre Dame Commit, and defensive end prospect Joey Bosa, the other two recruits mentioned in the story. It'd be one thing if this was a case of three fast friends from the recruiting process deciding to play their college ball together. Let's hope it's not rooted in less fortunate origins.
Sparty's sold a record number of season tickets! Gee willikers! Sure must be nice to have to worry about not selling out every single year for the rest of time!
Ohio State athlete commit (projected to wide receiver but a high school QB) Jalin Marshall will be in attendance at the camp taking place this weekend at Ohio Dominican University.
Indiana, number one? Surely you jest, Indiana blog. The Buckeyes check in at #8.
Iraq war veteran Matt Ufford ends a string of great work on the Seau tragedy following in the footsteps of our very own D.J. yesterday.
A great read. R.I.P., MCA.
Arguably the definitive eulogy on one of the game's real renaissance men.
Awesome attention to detail.
Something for the weekend:
