In a made for internet moment, 2013 wide receiver Uriah LeMay of Butler High in Matthews, North Carolina elected to go with (as widely expected) the University of Georgia over Ohio State and others Friday afternoon. LeMay made the decision Friday evening at Champion Christian Center in Pineville, North Carolina. The ceremony was also broadcast at NCPreps.com via what appeared to be a cell phone (Internet!)
LeMay, a four star according to most, was being courted by Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisville, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Clemson, and Virginia Tech in addition to the Buckeyes and Bulldogs.
Thus caps a fitting week in which Ohio State and UGA reneged on a non-series series and ultimately saw the two schools decide to go in different directions after precursory deliberations about a 2021-2021 home-and-home.
The Buckeyes will still have Jalin Marshall and Marcus Baugh amongst their Class of 2013 as possible receiving targets and could add some more vertical threats before everything's said and done.
