With the release of the time and broadcast channels for Ohio State's first three games of the 2012 seasons, when and where you watch Urban Meyer's inaugural season with the Buckeyes is coming more and more into picture. ABC/ESPN released nearly all of their 2012 pre-scheduled games Thursday though a number of remaining games on the Buckeyes' slate still remain up for grabs.
Previously, Ohio State's games against Nebraska, Indiana, and Penn State were announced as night games with the Michigan game set at its customary noon time slot.
The entirety of 2012 Ohio State TV network and time schedule to this point looks as following:
Date | Time (ET) | Game | Network |
Sat, Sept 1 | Noon | Miami (OH) at Ohio State | Big Ten Network |
Sat, Sept 8 | Noon | Central Florida at Ohio State | ESPN2 |
Sat, Sep 15 | Noon | California at Ohio State | ABC |
Sat, Sep 22 | TBD | UAB at Ohio State | TBD |
Sat, Sep 29 | TBD | Ohio State at Michigan State | TBD |
Sat, Oct 6 | 8:00 p.m. | Nebraska at Ohio State | ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 |
Sat, Oct 13 | 8:00 p.m. | Ohio State at Indiana | Big Ten Network |
Sat, Oct 20 | TBD | Purdue at Ohio State | TBD |
Sat, Oct 27 | 6:00 p.m. | Ohio State at Penn State | ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 |
Sat, Nov 3 | TBA | Illinois at Ohio State | TBD |
Sat, Nov 17 | TBA | Ohio State at Wisconsin | TBD |
Sat, Nov 24 | Noon | Michigan at Ohio State | ABC |
Look for UAB to wind up a Big Ten Network game at noon and Michigan State to land as a 3:30 game on ABC or ESPN. Purdue feels like it'd probably wind up a BTN game as well with likely Illinois and Wisconsin landing on ABC/ESPN properties.
