3-Star Athlete Taivon Jacobs Commits To Ohio State

Taivon Jacobs, a 3-star athlete from the state of Maryland, committed to Ohio State on Thursday becoming the 15th commit in the class of '13. Jacobs selected the Buckeyes after announcing his top 3 earlier this month, which included West Virginia, Ohio State, and his home state University of Maryland. Jacobs could yet fill the Pivot role that Percy Harvin thrived in while at the University of Florida during Urban Meyer's tenure there. He joins a growing list of multidimensional athletes that fit nicely into what Ohio State is trying to do offensively.

Jacobs is a strong grab for head coach Urban Meyer's team, and should prosper wherever Ohio State ultimately elects to utilize his talents. At his high school, Jacobs frequently plays wide receiver, safety, and is the team's punt returner/kick returner. Standing 5'10", 160-pounds, Taivon Jacobs may be considered slightly undersized, but this is immediatley tossed out the window when you see him run in the open field.
