Are you a student with top-flight writing and a nose for Ohio State football and/or basketball, lacking only an opportunity to have your work showcased on a high visibility affording platform? Are you an experienced Internet-savvy Buckeye scribe with a unique voice or a penchant for a style that may not make you an ideal fit for some of the bigger names out there but are looking for a place to write with that will let you rekindle the fire and give you the editorial freedom to grow? While at work (or in class) do you spend the majority of your would-be productive time scanning Twitter and Facebook trying to figure out where Ohio State's non-committable offers are going to land? Do you host an Ohio State-centric YouTube series or podcast you just know would be a hit if only you had the right equipment and an audience? Is your spare time spent making game changing highlight videos featuring the next generation of Buckeyes? If we're even in the ballpark, then it sounds like it's time for us to get in touch.

We're looking for the best samples of your work; send original reporting, recaps, features, editorials, whatever you like, just put the text or a link to text/video/whatevetc. in the body of an email. (No attachments. Please. For the love of God. No. Attachments. Plz. And. Thank you.) Include a short paragraph about yourself and why you'd be a fit for the team. You're also going to want to include all the essentials in there: Location, contact information, etc. Speaking of which: We're looking for talent from all over, so don't let your location/college of attendance be a detriment.

If you've applied before, don't let that stand in the way. The potential for compensation right off the bat will depend on experience level, availability, and what you're looking to bring to the table though everyone willing to get their elbows dirty and pay their dues will be rewarded for the effort they put in over time.
