Ohio State may not be eligible to play in the Big Ten Championship, a bowl, or even the BCS Championship Game, but that doesn't mean they can't still be in the mix for a national championship. The Associated Press released their Top 25 (which solicited a revote after the exile of Tyrann Mathieu from Baton Rouge) Saturday morning and after a rough 2011, Ohio State finds themselves back amongst the ranked.
The Michigan Wolverines are the highest ranked Big Ten team at 8th. Joining them in the Top 25 are the 12th ranked Wisconsin Badgers, the 13th ranked Michigan State Spartans, and the 17th ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Wolverines shockingly even garnered a 1st place vote.
