Ohio State is unbeaten, but by the cadence of 97.1 The Fan, the commentariats of basically every Ohio State pay site, blog, and forum, and of course water cooler scuttlebutt, you'd never guess it. Michigan State is 3-1, and though (especially given Michigan's early struggles) they potentially find themselves in the cat bird seat for the Legends division crown, their fan base has been saying things to the effect of "oh, well nine wins sure would be great."
For one afternoon, perfection seems attainable, even for the imperfect. One team sits four perfect quarters away from a defining Big Ten conference opening victory, while another sits a lack of execution ridden afternoon from having the momentum sucked out of their sails and left to wonder what comes from here. I suspect this will be one worth watching.
