Iowa looks to make it two big upsets in a row (on the heels of their take down of Wisconsin over the weekend...just after their defeat of Indiana in the ever dog-eat-dog world of the Big Ten) while the Ohio State Buckeyes look to reestablish their standing on solid ground. OSU fell to Michigan State, 59-56, Saturday evening at the Breslin Center after a Shannon Scott off balance, rushed three failed to ring true.
In Ohio State's favor, they bring to the table the Big Ten's leading scorer, Deshaun Thomas, who's presently averaging 23.2 points per game. Iowa's leading scorer, Roy Devyn Marble, by contrast, averages just 14.9 points per. Regardles, the Buckeyes will need Thomas, star point guard Aaron Craft, and the entire team playing at its highest level in the no-nights-off climate of the country's best basketball conference in order to get back to their winning ways.
Below is your GameThread. We don't have many rules, but we do ask that you be chill to your felow commenters. If some Iowa fans stop by, if you've ever read Black Heart Gold Pants, you already know they're insane. Observe the buddy system accordingly.
Go Buckeyes.
