GameThread: Wisconsin Badgers at #11 Ohio State Buckeyes

A lot has changed since Bo Ryan issued his now famous "deal with it" edict almost two years ago. The Buckeyes were unbeaten in that one (24-0) and held a 15-point lead before Jordan Taylor went off to the tune of 27 points (21 in the second half), helping to defeat Ohio State, 71-67.

Fast forward to the last time these two met, and the then 16th-ranked Badgers were guided by Jared Berggren en route to an upset of the eighth ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. Berggren was responsible for all five of the Badgers final five points (including the game deciding trey with just over 30 seconds to play) as Wisconsin went on to win, 63-60.

Berggren is certainly still around, and so are Aaron Craft and Deshaun Thomas for that matter. A lot of the other principle players have changed, however. Ohio State will do their best to find a viable second scoring option in the form of either Sam Thompson, LaQuinton Ross, or the often lost in the shuffle Lenzelle Smith, as Buckeyes legacy Traevon Jackson and Wisconsin Badgers head to town this evening.
