Army All-American Game 2013 GameThread

Will James Quick commit to Ohio State? Surely Mike Mitchell is in the bag. How will some of the other high profile Buckeyes fare? And can Ohio State win their first big road game of the year against Illinois?

It's becoming almost routine with Urban Meyer as Ohio State's head coach. A slew of Buckeyes will be suiting up for a high school all-star game this afternoon. In today's US Army All-American Bowl, suiting up for the East team will be 4-star DB Eli Apple, 4-star OL Evan Lisle, 4-star DT Michael Hill, and P Johnny Townsend. For the West, will be the ever electric 4-star RB Ezekiel Elliott, now most famously known for being the end target of this next level speech from Ohio State DBs coach Kerry Coombs. And perhaps most compellingly of all, we'll see if James Quick chooses Ohio State over Louisville and whether Mike Mitchell makes it a really good weekend for Luke Fickell and the defensive staff.

Meanwhile, in Champaign, the Ohio State basketball team will be trying to get their biggest road win of the year to date. Ohio State looked the part at home during Wednesday's Big Ten conference play home opener against Nebraska, but they'll have to be on the A-game with the difficulty being upped from Varsity to All-American today. Surely Lenzelle Smith Jr. and/or Aaron Craft will have their hands full with Brandon Paul.

Below is your GameThread for both. Play nicely, as some folks will be watching one, others will be watching the other, but everyone, in some capacity, rooting on Ohio State. Go Buckeyes.
