A numerous amount of Buckeye commits absolutely dominated their competition over the weekend. With Stephen Collier and Lee County having a bye week, the skill position players stole the show, proving, once again, just how dangerous they will be when their times come as Buckeyes.
Starting off with Terry McLaurin, the Cathedral High standout had a huge game for the second week in a row. Doing most of his damage on the ground this week, McLaurin rushed 12 times for 132 yards. We know that McLaurin is an excellent pass-catcher and route runner, but if he continues to shine in his do-it-all role, it will pay huge dividends moving forward, and most importantly, when he arrives in Columbus. Next week, McLaurin's squad will head east to Moeller high school and take on the Crusaders in a battle of two future Buckeyes, Terry McLaurin and Sum Hubbard. This is what Terry had to say about squaring off against his future teammate:
"It will be a true test both ways, a true test for our team going into the playoffs. Playing my future teammate will be a lot of fun."
Here's two videos of Terry McLaurin after Friday night's game against Arsenal Tech.
Staying on the offensive side of the ball , Noah Brown will be a huge threat to earn playing time next season as he's as physically ready as just about anyone in this year's class. Having a showcase game on Saturday against Sparta, Brown absolutely lit it up. Finishing with 6 catches for 146 yards and rushing nine times for 67, this was arguably Brown's best game of the season, in what was Pope John's toughest game of the year up to this point. Coach Meyer loves the kids who rise up in big games and that's just what Noah Brown did.
Noah Brown almost stopped in backfield on screen, but breaks tackle and flies 85 yds for TD and 24-20 PopeJohn lead 10:22 left #msgvscores

The most electrifying player of the day has to go to Parris Campbell in St. VIncent St. Mary's once again dominated everything in their path beating Thurgood Marshall 41-12. A huge chunk of the Irish's success can be attributed to Campbell as he recorded 203 rushing yards on only seven carries—yeah, that yards per carry average isn't too shabby. While also adding three touchdowns on the night, Parris Campbell continues to show off his unique skill set each and every week.
Really like the growth I'm seeing from Ohio State pledge Parris Campbell so far. #FOXHSFB

I'll do the math for you. It's 29.0 yards per carry. #OhioState pledge Parris Campbell Jr. tonight: 7 carries, 203 yards, 3 TDs in 41-12 win

Curtis Samuel impressed as well, breaking off an 89 yard touchdown run in Erasmus Hall's dominant 34-0 win over Canarsie. Samuel totaled two touchdowns on the day and more are sure to come over the final three games of the regular season for Erasmus Hall.
On the flip side, teammate Dante Booker led the Irish defense in tackles with 12.5. Booker has led his team in tackles just about every week this fall and why shouldn't he? The skill set, and size, is there for Booker to have a huge future.
Sam Hubbard recorded an interception in Moeller's win on Friday night. It's huge that Hubbard shows an excellent display of ball skills. For a person his size, standing 6'6", his overall athleticism sets him above the rest.
An interception from Sam Hubbard shuts down Elder's drive. Nice catch off a tipped pass. #Buckeyes

Sliding over to cornerback, a couple Ohio State coaches were on hand in the state up north to check in on Damon Webb, and the top player in the state didn't disappoint. On a play, right in front of the Buckeye coaching staff, Webb jumped a route and picked off a pass. Webb hasn't been challenged too much this season, but every time he has, the result hasn't treated his opponents very well. Oh, Cass Tech closed their regular season in dominating fashion once again with a 41-6 victory.
Damon Webb gets the INT in front of one of his future #OhioState coaches, Coach Coombs.

QUICK HITS:
- Jalyn Holmes did not play this week after suffering a massive case of dehydration. We wish Holmes a speedy recovery as he should be good to go next week.
- Dylan Thompson's Montini Broncos clawed out a 40-35 victory over Marian Central, running their season record to 7-0.
- Malik Hooker finished with 60 yards receiving and eight rushing yards in a 37-31 New Castle (PA) loss to West Allegheny on Friday evening.
- Eric Glover-Williams had a quiet night, but stayed in the action the whole game and helped, as the Bulldogs pulled out a 13-10 win over GlenOak, thanks to a last second fake field goal. In case you missed it, here it is.
