Kicking things off, junior offensive tackle Steven Gonzalez picked up an offer from Ohio State on Tuesday. Gonzalez checks in at a monstrous 6'5", 300 pounds and holds a handful of offers that range from the Big East down to SEC country. Gonzalez is rated as the number three prospect in the state of New Jersey as we stand right now and there's no reason why that rating won't continue to jump up throughout the next year. The Buckeyes are setting themselves up nicely for a great offensive line pull in 2015. When asked about his offer this is what Steven told our own Charles Doss:
I found out about the offer yesterday because Coach Warinner messaged me telling me to call him tonight, saying we want to offer. I called and he told me over the phone they were going to offer. I've talked to Coach Pantoni and Coach Warinner the most. Coach Warinner said I fit in their system and that he liked my tape from this year and last year.
It's a great feeling to be offered by such a prestigious program like Ohio State, who have proven they are great. Coach Meyer is a great coach and he's proven it by winning when he was at Florida and then now his success at OSU by not having lost a game yet. When I think of OSU I think of tradition, great school, beautiful campus, great players that go to the pros. I just think overall prestigious program. I plan on visiting maybe on an unofficial after the season, I'm not sure on a date but definitely after the season.
Josh Malone has started to regain some interest from Ohio State as of late, now with a visit scheduled for the weekend of October 26th. A wide receiver from Tennessee, Malone holds offers from Florida State, Georgia, Clemson, the hometown Volunteers and, of course, the Buckeyes. Standing just over 6'2", Malone gives you a viable option on the outside, but he's not just a possession receiver. With a recorded 40 time of 4.49, Malone presents a mismatch for just about any defensive back he lines up against.

Here's what Josh Malone has done so far this season.
Also scheduled to make a visit to the Buckeye state is offensive lineman Brandon Tiassum, but unlike Malone, this visit is expected to happen this coming weekend. At 6'5", Tiassum has not quite blown up yet, holding a limited amount of offers, but he has already visited two Big Ten schools, Purdue and Indiana. A 2015 prospect, the Indiana native has plenty of time to raise his stock, if possible as he's already rated a four-star prospect and ranked the number two overall player in the state.

Cario Davison, a 2015 safety, will be in town as well over the weekend and this will be his second visit to Columbus since August. Davison doesn't yet have a Buckeye offer, but the interest certainly seems to be there. From Galion, Ohio, Davison has been to Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Purdue within the last couple of months.
QUICK HITS:
- As we all know, the Mike Gesicki sweepstakes are just about over. With him scheduled to make his decision this Friday, Ohio State is making one last push to land his services.
