Ohio State vs. Penn State 2013:Â GameThread

Ohio State looks to move their nation's best winning streak to an impressive 20 – while Penn State looks to play spoilers in Ohio Stadium...again.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

There's no love lost as Ohio State and Penn State renew acquaintances underneath the stars in Ohio Stadium. Amidst a sea of scarlet (and pink; student groups and the football team alike are efforting to raise awareness for breast cancer), Braxton Miller and the Ohio State Buckeyes seek to win an incredible 20th straight.

Miller has finally started to come into his own after missing nearly three games and then coming out of the gates a bit rusty. Particularly in the later portions of last week's third and fourth quarters, Miller and tailback Carlos Hyde were at the peak of their powers.

Meanwhile, Penn State enters this one coming off a bye week (OSU's third straight opponent to have this favorable hand dealt). Before the bye, however, Bill O'Brien had one of the defining wins of his young head coaching career. The second year head man downed then ranked Michigan 43-40 in 4 OTs, behind the arm of impressive true freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg. "Hack" will have his pick of targets as the Ohio State secondary hasn't exactly looked comfortable of late.

Below is your Ohio State-Penn State GameThread. If this is your first time in the house (or your first time speaking up), welcome; we're thrilled to have you. Join your fellow Buckeye fans and our staff as we take in a game the Buckeyes are two TD favorites – but of course anything can happen in rivalry (or "rivalry", depending on your flavor) games.
