The critics wanted style points, and style points did they get. Ohio State pretty much laid the wood to Penn State en route to an impressive 63-14 victory yesterday in Ohio Stadium – but for their troubles, the Buckeyes won't have an awful lot to show for it, at least not poll wise.
For the second straight week, Ohio State finds themselves fourth in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll Top 25. The Coaches Poll comprises one third of the Week 10 BCS standings that will be revealed this evening at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. This will be the second set of released BCS standings of the year. Ahead of Ohio State are familiar foes: Alabama remains number one, Oregon, after an explosive fourth quarter to crush UCLA, is still second, and Jameis Winston and Florida State check in at third.
Also holding things down in the Coaches Poll from the Big Ten are #21 Michigan, up two spots from last week despite being on a bye week. Wisconsin moved up just one spot from 24th, while Michigan State is finally rewarded for their body of work after a thorough dismantling of Illinois. They enter the fray in Wisconsin's old spot.
Here is the USA TODAY Coaches Poll Top 25 in its entirety for Week 10:
