Ohio State's Aaron Craft preseason 2013-2014 All-Big Ten

Craft was joined by a pair of Wolverines and Spartans, and the Buckeyes themselves were third in the league's preseason rankings.

In a surprise to pretty much no one who follows the league, Ohio State senior point guard Aaron Craft was named to the preseason All-Big Ten Team Thursday morning at the league's annual basketball media day.

Joining craft on the team were Michigan's Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson III, Michigan State's Gary Harris and Adreian Payne, and Penn State's Tim Frazier. There were six participants on the team due to ties in voting. Harris was all named the league's 2013-14 preseason Player of the Year.

Much like with the media's unofficial straw poll yesterday, Michigan State was a unanimous choice as the preseason favorite to win the league. Michigan finished second in the balloting followed by the defending Big Ten Tournament champions, Ohio State.

Ohio State opens their season this Sunday in exhibition play against Walsh and then officially begins the 2013-2014 season Saturday, November 9th against Morgan State. The Buckeyes have a bye that weekend in football so you'll be able to basketball out without any reservations.
