Ohio State lineman Taylor Decker out for 1-2 weeks with a sprained MCL

One of Ohio State's starting offensive lineman, Taylor Decker, was helped to the locker room after suffering a left leg injury against Purdue.

Late in the third quarter, Ohio State offensive lineman Taylor Decker appeared to go down with a left leg injury and was down on the ground for an extended amount of time. It was revealed after the game that Decker had suffered a sprained MCL and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

After being helped off the field, Decker was led by the training staff on his way to the locker room, and did not return against Purdue. Decker was the lone starting offensive player still in the game at that point, perhaps to get more reps with a younger offensive line that he'll be a key starter in for the coming years.

The lack of depth hasn't been too much of an issue for the staff all season at the offensive line, but it might be a concern with Decker now expected to possibly miss two weeks from now's game against Illinois.
