Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets, 11/20 - Jarrett Stidham, Terrell Clinkscales, Sh'mar Kilby-Lane offered

The offers are rolling out for the Ohio State football program. Three athletes have recently received them, one of them being a Texas quarterback phenom.

A slew of offers have went out recently for the Ohio State Buckeye's football program, one of them being to 2015 quarterback Jarrett Stidham.

Standing just over 6'3, Stidham has the tools to be successful in just about any offense he's thrown into. Stidham hails from Texas and, naturally, has just about every Big 12 school after him. That's not all, though. In addition to holding a Baylor, TCU, and Texas offer, Stidham has also garnered interest and gained offers from programs like Texas A&M, Clemson, and Arizona State as well.

While his stock is through the roof at the moment, it should continue to get even better with a whole senior year ahead of him. Yes, the Buckeyes were a tad late to the party on this one, but Urban Meyer is more than capable of landing the Texas standout if a bigger push is made in the future. Currently, Stidham is an 83% crystal ball lock to Baylor. So far this season, Stidham has led his Stephenville Yellow Jackets to a 9-1 record and is smack dab in the middle of the UIL State Football Championships as we speak.

Also picking up an offer is big-time junior college defensive tackle Terrell Clinkscales. Clinkscales checks in at 6'4, 310 pounds and he looks every bit of it. A physical lineman, Terrell can bully offensive linemen and clog up holes consistently, a trait that separates elite defensive tackles from just good ones. Ohio State isn't the only prestigious program he as offers from as Nebraska, Texas Tech, Oregon, Alabama and Kansas State are all in the race to land the Dodge City Community College standout. With the Thomas Holley chatter starting to slow down, it's a real possibility that Terrell Clinkscales could be the next man up. If a visit to Columbus gets set up, it could be to cross the t's and dot some i's.

The third offer went out to 2015 Florida linebacker Sh'mar Kilby-Lane.

Talk about an old school thumper, Kilby-Lane will absolutely nail anyone who tries to block him and drop any running back that enters into his vision. He moves well from sideline to sideline and is pretty darn good when he comes on a blitz. Kilby-Lane's recruitment has been somewhat quiet up to this point, but it's likely it was just the calm before the storm. Look for SKL to get a whole lot more attention as we enter into the spring. Matt McCann will be making his way to the Buckeye state this weekend when the Hoosier come to town. McCann is an offensive tackle prospect with huge upside. A towering 6'6, he also lands over 300 pounds and is a mammoth who can anchor an offensive line. As his junior season comes to an end, his recruitment is starting to take off as he's picked up two Big Ten offers within the last couple of weeks—Iowa and Indiana. Since it's early in the process, there seems to be no favorite at this time, but as we know with recruiting, things can change at the blink of an eye.
