The college football world remains much the same in the AP Top 25 poll, as Alabama, Oregon, and Florida State headline the list as the top three teams in the country. Ohio State and Baylor once again round out the top five, while Miami drops out of the top ten, down to 14th following their blowout loss to Florida State.
Ohio State is still trailing the top three teams by a fairly large amount, so it's pretty clear that losses are the only way the Buckeyes would be able to jump two of the top three teams, despite holding the nation's longest winning streak at 21 straight games. Alabama plays LSU this week, while Oregon has to take on Stanford. It would appear Florida State has side-stepped many of the remaining land mines that could steer them off-course, but we'll have to wait and see.
The Big Ten has three teams in the top 25, including Ohio State. Michigan State moves up to 18th following a big win over Michigan, as the Wolverines drop out of the top 25 altogether. Wisconsin inches up the poll to 21st, after beating Iowa in a hard fought win.
