Week 11 BCS standings: Ohio State still looking up in rankings

The Buckeyes still need two of the three teams in front of them to lose for them to have a shot at a BCS title.

Ohio State equaled Purdue's worst loss ever over the weekend, downing the Boilermakers, 56-0. Though the Bucks were clicking on all cylinders, so were the Florida State Seminoles, who easily dismissed then 7th ranked Miami, 41-14. As the esult of FSU dominating another Top 10 opponent, Jimbo Fisher's bunch find themselves back in second in this week's BCS standings. Idle Alabama stayed at first while Oregon fell to third respectively.

For the Buckeyes, the narrative remains the same. Survive and advance – oh, and yeah, hope at least two of those three teams in front of you slip up. Ohio State's schedule remains the most manageable of the four teams in the Top 4, and next week could go a long way towards determining how the BCS Championship Game race shakes out.

LSU heads to Alabama in a primetime Top 13 matchup while Oregon heads to Palo Alto to do battle with the Cardinal Thursday night on ESPN. If the favorites prevail, both should be favored to win out the remainder of their schedules. With Miami and Clemson behind them (and the Coastal division struggling), Florida State should also be favored in the remainder of their games.
