The Buckeyes continued their pursuit in the state of Georgia on Wednesday as they extended yet another offer to a player from the Peach state in the 2015 class. The offer makes it the ninth Georgia recruit to grab an Ohio State scholarship offer for '15.

5-star ATH Terry Godwin was the recipient on Wednesday. The 6'0, 190-pound talent is already being pursued by some of the top programs in the country, as you would expect. Godwin has 16 offers under his belt including Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame and now the Buckeyes. The Callaway High School product is ranked as the 18th-best player in the country, second at his position, as well as third in the state of Georgia. The Bulldogs are seemingly in the lead for the 5-star athlete.

You can check out highlights from the newly offered Godwin below:

Ohio State reportedly offered another down south prospect on Wednesday. According to his Twitter page, class of 2015 defensive end Kyle Phillips of Nashville,Tennessee has added a scholarship from the Buckeyes. The 6-4 245 pound four star talent, already held offers from the likes of Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt before OSU came calling. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Kyle is the 108th player in the class of 2015, the eighth strong side defensive end, and third overall prospect in the state of Tennessee.

For the most part, the committed prospects for the Buckeyes have been pretty solid in regards to the decision they made. Outside of the few rumblings about Marcelys Jones-Alabama at least. That all changed yesterday as '14 WR commit Lonnie Johnson brought to Twitter that he would be indeed visiting another program:

The 4-star wide receiver gave his pledge to the Buckeyes back on March 12th, but from the looks of it, is keeping his options open. The Hoosier state standout also picked up an offer from the Akron Zips on Wednesday.
