Per Scout's Bill Greene, Ohio State's landed the commit of highly touted 2017 quarterback Danny Clark. The Jim Tressel era this isn't. Clark's been tied to the Buckeyes since before he even took his first snaps as the starting quarterback at Massillon and today makes his pledge to the school official.
Despite having just finished his freshman season on the gridiron, Clark plays like an upperclassman. The pro-style quarterback has the measurables to match as well as he checks in at 6'4 205 pounds and many believe could be one of the best quarterbacks out of the state of Ohio in sometime by the time he graduates several years from now.
Though 2017 makes it way too premature for there to be any star evaluations out there for him, rest assured, Clark is a monster coup for Urban Meyer, Mark Pantoni, and the Ohio State coaching staff. While there's certainly plenty of questions about which prospect the Buckeyes will pursue in the class of 2015, the far off future is certainly extremely bright with Clark's addition.
