Things got off to a quick start on Monday, when '14 5-star LB Raekwon McMillan announced his commitment to Ohio State and selected the Buckeyes over Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, and Georgia. McMillan's decision gave the class of 2014 18 total commitments, jumping Ohio State up three spots to No. 2 behind Alabama according to the 247Sports football recruiting rankings. Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Miami round out the top five, while Ohio State has to deal with a few more targets that are left on coach Meyer's recruiting board. Here are some reactions from Ohio State recruits and even a staff member:
Need to catch my breath for a few mins after my heart almost stopped beating lol

Mark Pantoni shared the same sentiment most Buckeye fans were probably having as McMillan was making his decision. When he was about to share where he was going, he first grabbed the Alabama hat and said "I'm going to have to roll with..." but then dropped the hat and put on the scarlet and gray hat, announcing "Ohio State".

'14 ATH Noah Brown, who is already committed to Ohio State, sent his love following Raekwon's announcement.
Ok ok... Let's get to the real news... Since you're gunna be my roomy we gotta lay down some rules...

Fellow Dream 14 member OT Demetrius Knox having himself a little bit of fun after McMillan's decision to attend Ohio State.
For now, Buckeye fans can be comfortable with the fact that coach Meyer has truly lived up to his billing of being called the "closer". In fact, Ohio State and the coaching staff have a chance to close on another top prospect today, as '14 WR Johnnie Dixon makes his announcement one day after McMillan. Noah Brown, mentioned above, sent a tweet to Dixon today after McMillan's commitment, telling him to join Ohio State and help make the Buckeyes have the best wide receiving core in the country.
Decision coming tomorrow at 3pm
— Johnnie Dixon (@JDStandAlone) December 16, 2013
Dixon's decision comes today at 3 ET, so prepare yourselves for another episode of Twitter blowing up after his announcement. Dixon's top three are Alabama, Miami, and Ohio State, while the 247 Crystal Ball has 68% of the voters leaning towards Ohio State's way. Miami (30%) and Alabama (2%) trail by a comfortable margin, but Miami is certainly a darkhorse in this race for the Florida-native. Once again, though, Urban Meyer had the last chance to make an impression as far as visits go. Meyer made his in-home visit on December 10th, which reportedly went very well. I still have Dixon ending up with the Buckeyes, in what would put the cherry on top of an already excellent weekend.
