The last time the Buckeyes and the Cornhuskers played, Deshaun Thomas single handedly outscored Nebraska (11-11, 2-7) 18-17 in the first half en route to an easy 70-44 win. Thomas is currently playing with just about all the cheat codes on, as he's hitting more than 40% from three this season, and is coming off of a 25 point, 4 assist night against an elite Wisconsin defense.
Nebraska has improved significantly since their first tangle in Columbus, beating two Big Ten teams and scaring the daylights out of Michigan State and Wisconsin. Given the huge games coming up for Ohio State, and their problems with focusing at times this season, this game has the potential to be much closer than before. It isn't so much of a trap game that Ohio State could actually, you know, lose, but Nebraska is capable of making Ohio State work like Penn State did.
Will Deshaun hit 30 tonight? Will this be a breakout game for LaQuinton Ross? Will Amir Williams get 5 swats? Who knows? The only way to find out is to join us here in our game thread.
Usual rules and restrictions apply.
Go Buckeyes.
