It didn't take long for the fake/email to come in. The four/five star defensive lineman from Fort Lauderdale's St Thomas Aquinas becomes the first in the 2013 class to officially get his paperwork in to the university. Bosa was Ohio State's 12th verbal commitment of the 2013 class and first pledged to the Buckeyes back on April 23rd, 2012.
Bosa was also recruited by much of the other top powers in college football (Alabama notably amongst them), but after taking an official visit to Ohio State, fell for everything Columbus had to offer. Bosa adds to a young, ferocious defensive line that included Noah Spence, Adolphus Washington, Tommy Schutt, Se'Von Pittman, and more. Depth on the line is what helped Urban Meyer win two national championships at the University of Florida. By adding Bosa, Meyer and his director of player personnel, Mark Pantoni, continue to lay the foundation to do the very same at Ohio State.
Here was the official word of Bosa's fax coming in:
Shoutout to @jbbigbear on being Buckeye #1!— Mark Pantoni (@markpantoni) February 6, 2013
