GameThread: #14 Ohio State at #2 Indiana

It's do or die time for the Buckeyes, as they try to grab a share of the Big Ten Title, or at least a Thursday bye in the Big Ten Tourney. Do they have what it takes to spring the upset against what may be the best team in the country?

USA TODAY Sports

Is Columbus buried in a snowy apocalypse yet? It's been steadily snowing for the past several hours here at the LGHL Chicago Offices, and I'm starting to suspect that the wintery embrace of sleep is nigh upon us. If we're all going to freeze to death, at least we get one more great college basketball game, right? The stakes are clear. If the Buckeyes win out, and if Indiana loses against Michigan, the Buckeyes grab a share of the B1G title. A victory also removes a major criticism of Ohio State's bracket profile, a lack of a signature true road victory, and basically locks up a first day bye in the Big Ten tournament. Simple right?

The Hoosiers beat Ohio State 81-68 in their first meeting in Columbus, and boost a high powered offensive attack paced by not one but two possible POY candidates in Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo. The Buckeyes will need to find ways to keep them away from the free throw line, slow the game down, and get a big night from Deshaun Thomas and company if they want to steal a game in Bloomington.

Do the Buckeyes have it in them? Either way, should be a great game as we hit the final stretch of the regular season and ramp up into the MADNESS. Join us won't you? Usual rules and restrictions apply.
