After an intrasquad scrimmage saw Ohio State's Scarlet and Gray teams combine for 433 yards of total offense, a number of current Buckeyes sounded off on the experience as a whole and what it was like to play the game not in the familiar grounds of Ohio Stadium, but rather in the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals' Paul Brown Stadium.
With Braxton Miller accounting for 217 yards through the air and Kenny Guiton following suit with 151 of his own, the Buckeyes' principle signal callers were very much in the zone Saturday afternoon. Though Carlos Hyde and Rod Smith took the day off, Bri'onte Dunn and Warren Ball were uneven but at least showed flashes of what they were capable off at the tailback position.
Of course the story of the day was the play of defensive ends Noah Spence and Adolphus Washington. The two sophomores combined for 7 sacks and along with breakout middle linebacker Curtis Grant (8 tackles), helped set the tone for the afternoon defensively.
Here's what a few of the 2013 Buckeyes had to say following Saturday afternoon's scrimmage:
Cincinnati was straight tho!
