Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets, 4/25 - Updates on Quincy Wilson, David Sharpe

It was yet another busy day for the Ohio State coaching staff as they continued their visiting of recruits across the country, making calls and handing out offers.

The Buckeyes coaching staff has hit the recruiting trail hard, and as we shared with you yesterday, they definitely mean business. They weren't done Tuesday, however, as Ohio State continued visiting prospects on Wednesday as well. One of the prospects that the staff visited yesterday was '15 CB Brian Cole from the state of Michigan. The other was '14 OL and current Buckeye commit Kyle Trout.

Trout is, as mentioned above, already committed to the Buckeyes. However, there's no harm in the coaching staff making periodical visits to any of the commitments in Ohio State's class of 2014. We've seen before that recruits can flip at any time they please (luckily for Ohio State, the Buckeyes have been on the fortunate end of those circumstances). The 6'6", 300-pounder is ranked as the 15th-best offensive tackle in the country and sixth best recruit in the state of Ohio.

Cole is a 6'2", 190-pound cornerback that has already received offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. Cornerbacks coach Kerry Coombs is in charge of recruiting the Michigan-native, and you know the type of athletes Coombs is after means that Cole must be the real deal. Cole has also heard from Notre Dame and Tennessee. If you want to see what Cole can bring to the table, check out his highlight film from this past year here:

'14 CB Quincy Wilson has quite a schedule ahead of him this coming summer. Wilson has a total of 42 offers to his name, all of which Wilson has said before that he is looking into. Right now, the schools recruiting him the hardest are Florida, Ohio State and South Carolina. Although listed as a safety, Wilson has been offered as a cornerback by every school he's been in contact with, which is exactly where he wants to be.

'14 OL David Sharpe has a lot of interest flying at him from all directions, but the Florida-native is mainly being targeted by both Florida and Florida State. It would be safe to assume at this point that the Gators and Seminoles are leading for Sharpe's talent, but he has mentioned before that he doesn't have an official leader. The 6'6", 288-pound tackle wants to visit Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Ohio State sometime this summer and from there try to narrow down his list.

Finally, Ohio State offered '14 OL Brian Wallace out of the state of Missouri on Wednesday. Wallace, a 6'6", 297-pound tackle is ranked as a 3-star and the 10th best recruit in the state of Missouri for the class of 2014. Coming from Missouri, Wallace has talked with '13 Buckeye commit Ezekiel Elliott about Ohio State. Wallace has visited Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska and also wants to visit Arkansas, Georgia and Ohio State sometime soon. As of now, the three schools that he has visited, lead for Wallace's services. Here are Wallace's highlight tapes for you to check out:
