ABC/ESPN/ESPN2 announced their 2013 Big Ten Conference primetime schedule Monday afternoon and Ohio State will find themselves playing in three of them. The Buckeyes will kick off conference play, September 28th, against Wisconsin on either of the three networks.
Immediately the following week, October 5th, the Buckeyes head to the Chicago area where they'll face Northwestern at Ryan Field at 8 p.m. under the same caveat. Finally, October 26th, the Buckeyes will play host to the Penn State Nittany Lions, again for an 8 p.m. kick. The game will also be aired on one of the three ABC/Disney properties.
Ohio Stadium has played host to a night game every year for the past five seasons, this marking the sixth. The Buckeyes as a team have played in 59 total night contests (as determined by beginning 5 p.m. local time or later), 12 of those in Ohio Stadium, during their football playing history.
