Future Buckeye forward Keita Bates-Diop helped his AAU program, the Illinois, Wolves finish with a 3-1 record at the Under Armour Invitational being held in Dallas,Texas this past weekend. The 6-7 190 pound baller played well in every game, but probably stood out the most stat wise Friday evening when he went for 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks in a 53-32 Wolves victory over We R 1.
Fellow OSU commit, Pickerington Central guard Jae'Sean Tate and his All-Ohio Red teammates took on big man Jahlil Okafor and the Mac Irvin Fire Saturday. Okafor is arguably the top player in the 2014 class, and one of the recruits Thad Matta and staff are trying to add to an already impressive recruiting class. In what sounded like a tough battle of two similar caliber squads, both Tate (shoulder) and Okafor (ankle) would obtain injuries that would make them miss the rest of the weekends games. Tate would still have a decent game even with the injury , finishing with 18 points and 5 rebounds, while Jahlil pitched in 6 points and 7 rebounds in a 87-75 win over Jae'Sean and All-Ohio Red.
Keita and Jae'Sean's future teammate, forward Dave Bell, and his Ohio Basketball Club team took the weekend off after playing seven straight weekends. One 2014 recruit who didn't take the weekend off was point guard Tyus Jones. The 6-1 170 pound five star stud led his Howard Pulley squad to an 5-0 weekend run led by his Saturday performances when he sparked the Panthers to a 79-69 victory, finishing with 27 points. Later in the day, Jones scored 25 points in a 72-67 win over the Travelers. Jones has the Buckeyes, Duke, Baylor, Kansas, Michigan State and other top notch programs fighting it out for his services.
I would estimate the bleachers on court 5 hold about 350 people. Where are the other 400 gonna watch Tyus Jones from?

Recently offered 2015 guard Isaiah Briscoe and the New Jersey Playaz didn't pan out as well as Jones. The Playaz finished 0-5 over the weekend, but Briscoe did not disappoint. The 6-3 205 pound combo guard played his best ball Sunday where he scored 24 and 35 points in his games. The New Jersey native has the Buckeyes, Indiana, Arizona, Syracuse, Baylor and quite a few others comprising his list of scholarship offers.
Isaiah Briscoe isn't going to overpower you, but knows how to create his shot. Crafty SG a little undersized but legit scorer. Great focus.

Malachi Richardson led Team Final to a 4-1 weekend record. The 6-5 195 pound class of 2015 shooting guard had his best game come in a 77-64 loss to Houston Hoops. Richardson put up 22 points and 6 rebounds against 2014 North Carolina commit Justin Jackson (13 points) and fellow 2015 prospect Justise Winslow (14 points) who also has an offer from OSU. Malachi is rated a five star recruit according to the 247Composite rankings and already holds offers from OSU, Indiana, Rutgers and others.
Getting final spring look at Malachi Richardson of Team Final. Game comes so easy for him. Sky's the limit, no doubt.

Urban Meyer and his coaching staff received great news Monday as 2014 JUCO offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor announced that the Buckeyes join Arkansas, Alabama, Ole Miss, USC and UCLA as his top six. The 6-6 300 pound Eluemunor, told Land-Grant Holy Land that his relationship with Coach Meyer and Coach Warinner were a key reason why OSU made the cut over so many other programs after the Lackawanna Community College monster.
And my top 6 is..... twitter.com/TheMainShow_/s…

Buckeye quarterback target Kyle Allen will name his top five later this afternoon. The 2014 Arizona signal caller has offers from the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Arizona State and UCLA, to name a few. If I had to place a bet on who his top five will be, those are who I would roll with to make the short list for the 6-3 190 pound pocket passer. Check back tomorrow to see if my predictions were correct.
I will be coming out with a top 5 list on Tuesday at 3pm. I will let all schools know before hand if you didn't make it. Thanks to all 🙏
