Ohio State's non conference schedule took another step towards completion, with North Dakota State being added to the schedule.
From the Fargo-Moorhead Forum:
The Bison will play at Ohio State and Notre Dame in December. The exact dates have yet to be finalized, but head coach Saul Phillips said they will be either Dec. 11 and 13 or the 11th and 14th.
The game with Ohio State of the Big Ten Conference comes one year after NDSU played at Indiana. The Fighting Irish will be entering their first year in the Atlantic Coast Conference in basketball
North Dakota State will obviously be a heavy underdog, but they're no slouch themselves, having won at least 20 games in each of their last seven seasons. Last year, the Bison finished 24-10 and were the runners up in the Summit League tournament, running into the Nate Wolters buzzsaw of South Dakota State.
Ohio State's non-conference slate also includes games with Ohio, Cleveland State, Maryland, a trip to Marquette and a neutral site game with Notre Dame in New York City. With a few more revelations in the months ahead, we should have clarity on the schedule as a whole sooner rather than later.
