Ohio State's 2013-2014 non-conference schedule is coming more into focus by the day. According to MLive.com's Diamond Leung, Thad Matta and the basketball Buckeyes will be playing host to the Wyoming Cowboys November 25th (that's the Monday before the Michigan game).

Wyoming is a decent-ish get as far as non-conference opposition goes (particularly on quasi-late-ish notice). While certainly not the major conference power team you'd like to pad the Bucks' RPI, they were 20-14 in 2013, making the College Basketball Invitational after losing to eventually NCAA second round bust New Mexico in the Mountain West Conference Tournament. The Pokes advanced past Lehigh on a dramatic buzzer beating 3-pointer, 67-66, before losing in the next round to Western Michigan, 75-67, in overtime.

Though Wyoming aren't exactly projected to win the Mountain West next season, they should give the Buckeyes an adequate warm blooded opponent to add to their pre-Big Ten slate preparation. Outside of Marquette and Notre Dame (and the ACC-Big Ten Challenge matchup with Maryland), the Buckeyes may not have another noteworthy non-conference opponent, which does provide some room for trepidation. Even still, if the Big Ten is a 75% of what it was in 2012-2013, as long as Ohio State handles their business, they shouldn't have any real reasons for concern.
