The complete list of Ohio State freshmen jersey numbers

In a positive distraction, we now have the complete list of inbound freshmen's Ohio State jersey numbers.

USA TODAY Sports

After a nightmare day off the field for Ohio State and head coach Urban Meyer, fans will at least finally have something (albeit a rather superficial something, but something none the less) to help keep their focus on 13 days from now's open of Fall Camp.

If you want to get your replica jersey game in order, you'll no longer have to speculate on who's going to where what uniform number this coming fall. Though Timothy Gardner was sent home from the team with his question in future following a legal incident, we finally have the complete list of incoming freshman uniform numbers to be worn by Ohio State football players this fall.

As expected, there are also a few number changes amongst the upperclassmen we'll do our best to comprehensively touch on. Though the early enrollees' numbers were already known and there was some speculation (based largely on Twitter information), here's the uniform numbers as released by Ohio State with their latest roster this afternoon:

13 Eli Apple CB

35 Christopher Worley S

16 J.T. Barrett QB

1 Dontre Wilson RB

85 Marcus Baugh TE

6 Vonn Bell DB

29 Jayme Thompson S

93 Tracy Sprinkle DL

54 Billy Price DL

97 Joey Bosa DL

52 Donovan Munger DL

44 Mike Mitchell LB

16 Cameron Burrows DB

17 Jalin Marshall WR

75 Evan Lisle OL

82 James Clark WR

59 Tyquan Lewis DE

19 Gareon Conley CB

43 Darron Lee ATH

95 Cameron Johnston P

36 Trey Johnson LB

15 Ezekiel Elliott RB

77 Michael Hill DL

Amongst the changes, as expected (and previously touched on), Devin Smith will be switching to #9, Evan Spencer to #6, and Adam Griffin to #11. There's still no word of Rod Smith and Jordan Hall swapping #'s 2 for 7, which may have just been a social media stunt the two pulled.

For what it's worth, Timothy Gardner is not included on the latest roster, but tailback Carlos Hyde, currently suspended indefinitely by the program, is. Per Buckeye Sports Bulletin's Jeff Svoboda, walk-on William Houston Jr. is no longer with the program.
